How do I install and setup SWITCH?

Is there an installation guide or user guide that walks me through the setup/install process of PowerSWITCH, FullSWITCH or LightSWITCH?

Checking system requirements

Before you install SWITCH on your system, please make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.

• Windows
  Microsoft Windows 2000 (Server), XP Professional or 2003 Server
  128 Mb of memory available to SWITCH
  Approximately 100 Mb of free disk space
• Mac
  Requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher (both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs)
  128 Mb of memory available to SWITCH
  Approximately 100 Mb of free disk space

Locating the installer

From a trial or product CD-ROM: insert the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive of your system.

• On Windows: the CD wizard appears and shows you the content of the CD-ROM. Follow the steps in the wizard to find the installer
• On Mac OS: after clicking on the CD the CD wizard appears and shows you the content of the CD-ROM. Follow the steps in the wizard to find the installer

From the internet

• You can download the latest version of the installer from our web site. Visit our web site and go to the download section or follow the direct link: http://www.gradual.com/download.htm.
• Download the installer for your platform to your system
• Locate the installer application where you saved it on your system

Installing SWITCH

Double-click the SWITCH installer. This will launch the SWITCH install program. Follow the steps presented to you by the installer.

Getting started

Once you have installed SWITCH, launch the SWITCH application.

Go to 'Help>Help Index' or press F1 to open the documentation. More information about getting started is available in the topics "Running SWITCH for the first time" and "Finding your way around SWITCH".
