Distill PostScript Files

This flow demonstrates how you can distill a PostScript file using Adobe Acrobat Distiller.

This flow is compatible with: FullSWITCH, PowerSWITCH

Information

This flow contains a single "Input" folder; this folder sorts apparent PostScript files from non-PostScript files and passes on all PostScript files to Adobe Acrobat Distiller. The "Output" folder receives all distilled PDF files, while the "Problem logs" folder is setup to receive Acrobat Distiller logs.

The Adobe Acrobat Distiller is used in this flow; the Distiller settings to use can be configured using one of the properties of that configurator. That means that no additional configuration in Adobe Acrobat Distiller itself is necessary; everything is done from within SWITCH.

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file you just saved

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine or customize it to your needs.
