Timed processing

I have a process that preferably should run during the night (such as uploading files to an FTP server)… This flow demonstrates how to accomplish that.

This flow is compatible with: LightSWITCH, FullSWITCH, PowerSWITCH

Information

This flow features a single Input Folder. All files that are dropped in the Input Folder are moved to the File Balancer. On the File Balancer out connection the “Allow from” and “Allow to” properties are configured to allow files to move out of the folder only between the specified times.

This Output folder can be connected to any other tool, to an FTP or Mail tool for example, which will processes the files only when the File Balancers passes them on.

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file you just saved

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine or customize it to your needs.
