Configurator
SWITCH has a built-in configurator that supports PitStop Server 3.x and 4.x; the configurator lets you:
- Setup in and out folders for PitStop Server in the flow
- Specify the PDF Profile used to preflight
- Specify one or more Action Lists to correct processed files
- Configure color management settings used during processing
- Set processing behavior for Certified PDF files
The configurator can be used only if SWITCH is installed on the same computer as PitStop Server; in other situations the hotfolder technique must be used.
Hotfolders
PitStop Server supports setting up Hot Folders directly on the main window of the application; in PitStop Server terminology a Hot Folder is a complete processing setup, including preflight and correction settings, color management settings and in and output folders. When you're done setting up your Hot Folder in PitStop Server, drag the in and output folders you want to automate in a SWITCH flow into the design area and connect them with your other processes.
