Hotfolders

Beginning with FullSWITCH you can use the "Generic Application" tool to link Impostrip into SWITCH. This is possible because Impostrip supports hotfolders which allow to:

• use dynamic template: using the same template for multiple jobs
• find the best Fit for automated template selection
• Support saddle-stitch, perfect bound,, spiral and wire-o, right-side and calendar binding
• And much more...

Examples

The following is a list of examples where Impostrip OnDemand is used. Click the links to view these examples in the Flow Library or Script Library:

• Preflight and impose
  This example flow will first preflight all PDF files and only send the files without any problems to Impostrip, which will impose those using dynamic templates.

• Merge files and impose
  

  Separate PDF files are merged into 1 PDF file based on their file name. These files are then imposed correctly using Impostrip.

• Impose dependant on page size
  

  Callas pdfInspektor will filter out the files based on their file size. For each file size a different imposition template is used to get an optimal result.
