Update SWITCH

Gradual Software regularly releases small updates for the different SWITCH products. These updates are free for registered users.

How do I obtain the update?

To obtain the latest update available for your product, just go to the download page. Fill in the form and you'll get an overview of the available releases. At this time there are no separate "update installers", you have to download and use the trial installers on our website. Your license key will be preserved as you install the update.

How do I know whether I need an update?

To check whether you have the latest update of our products, check the download page. The page lists both the major and minor version for all available installers. If the page contains for example: "LightSWITCH 06 update 8 " that means the major version of LightSWITCH is currently "06", the minor version (or update) is currently "8".

If you have an older version of the software you should consider to update. To know which new features have been implemented or which problems have been fixed, check the Knowledge Base; it contains articles that summarize the changes in each update for you.

How do I install an update?

Download the latest version of the product you have installed. Before running the installer, make sure you have a backup of your flows, scripts and other SWITCH data.

You can then just run the installer and it will update your SWITCH product for you.
