Preflight and report

This flow demonstrates how you can make operators responsible for a number of customers and alert the correct operator whenever a certain customers job is failing.

This flow is compatible with: FullSWITCH, PowerSWITCH

Information

Operators receive jobs from their customers and drop them in their own input folder, mail information for each operator is added to the job automatically. Once the submitted files are preflighted they are sorted in success and fail folders:

• Success filles will be put in the 'ready for output' folder and a notification message will be send to the person responsible for this client (the operator who submitted the job originally) and the press operator
• Fail files are gathered in a specific folder, while the error reports are send to the operator who submitted the job

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file you just saved

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine or customize it to your needs.
