Absolutely. SWITCH performs various tasks (such as downloading files, moving files, checking email) in separate threads which can run on multiple processors at the same time. Furthermore, the third-party applications controlled by SWITCH (such as distilling or preflighting) each run in their own thread, so they can be working in parallel as well.
