How can I license Apago PDF Enhancer?

SWITCH tells me that my trial for PDF Enhancer expired. I have a license key, but what do I do next?

Answer

SWITCH communicates with PDF Enhancer Server. You need to license the PDFE Command Line Interface or CLI to be able to continue using PDF Enhancer from within SWITCH.

To register the application, run it from the command line with ONLY the -r parameter to provide the number.

• For example: pdfe -r XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

This will create a file in the same directory as PDF Enhancer called “license.psl” which is your registration file.

PDF Enhancer needs to be able to locate this in order to run, so we recommend that you keep it in the same directory.
