WAM!Net receive and preflight
PowerSWITCH receives files from WAM!Net together with their WAM!Net Ad Delivery Job Ticket. All files are preflighted; a different email is sent for failed or success files depending on the WAM!Net Ad Delivery Job Ticket . Job tickets, preflight reports and processed files are collected in one archive per job.
This flow is compatible with: PowerSWITCH
Information

WAM!Net hands over jobs to PowerSWITCH by dropping them into the "Input" folder. The XML Pickup tool, retrieves the WAM!net Ad Delivery Job Ticket and adds it to the internal SWITCH Job Ticket.
Each job that SWITCH receives from WAM!net contains one or more files and a job ticket. The Job Dismantler is used to take apart the job: the WAM!net Ad Delivery Job Ticket is deleted (as this information has been added to the SWITCH job ticket) and the PDF file is allowed to go through the flow.
The "Extract Job Ticket Metadata" script is used to collect specific information coming from the WAM!Net Ad Delivery Job Ticket and to add this to the email information dataset.
PitStop Server is used to preflight all incoming PDF files.
If a file fails, a notification email is sent. The "Format email" script collects the content of the email message and formats it so that it can be sent by the Mail Send tool. The result is an email that contains even the details about the PDF that came in with the WAN!Net Ad Delivery Job Ticket. Failed jobs, job tickets and preflight reports are gathered in the "Fail archive" grouped per job.
If the preflight is successful, a low resolution version is created and sent to the "sender" of the original job through WAM!Net. Successful jobs, the low resolution versions, job tickets and preflight reports are gathered in the "Success archive" also grouped per job. An email is send with the success preflight results and the WAN!Net Ad Delivery Job Ticket information.
