Convert PDF using GMG ColorServer

SWITCH hands over single files to GMG ColorServer coming from a hierarchy structure of folders. After the color conversion, all files are archived back into their original folder structure.

This flow is compatible with: FullSWITCH and PowerSWITCH (Windows only).

Information

Incoming files are retrieved from the Submit Hierarchy folder and it's subfolders up to 99 levels deep. Only single files are moved on to the next step, but the Submit Hierarchy tool is set to remember which file came out of which subfolder.

All single files are handled by GMG ColorServer using the Generic Application tool. In Color Server you can set up a PDFtoPDF or regular hotfolder to do a CMYK to CMYK or any other color conversion; just make sure that the in- and output folder are the same as in SWITCH.

The Archive Hierarchy tool is set to recreate the folder structure as it was found in the Submit Hierarchy folder so that all result files end up in the correct folder again.

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine it or customize it to your needs.
