Check images with FlightCheck

The Markzware FlightCheck Professional configurator is used to sort images. Only certain file types are allowed in the flow and then sorted on non-CMYK, CMYK and ICC tagged CMYK.

This flow is compatible with: FullSWITCH, PowerSWITCH

Information

The FlightCheck Professional configurator is used 3 times in this flow. Each occurrence uses another ground control set to check the incoming files.

In the first step, only TIFF, EPS, DCS and PSD files are allowed to go through. FlightCheck checks if the incoming file is the correct file type and wether it is allowed it to go through. If other file types are detected, they are moved along the error connection into the "wrong file type" folder.

The next FlightCheck configurator checks the color space. Non-CMYK files are moved along the fail connection.

The last configurator in the flow is used to make the difference between ICC-tagged and plain CMYK images.

If you want to check your images on different parameters, you can create your own ground control settings in FlightCheck Professional and select them in the FlightCheck configurator in SWITCH.

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine it or customize it to your needs.
