Archive By Date

This flow uses a script that archives jobs based on the date they were processed on. Jobs can be archived this way per day, month or year.

This flow is compatible with: PowerSWITCH.

Information

This flow uses a script that adds the current date to the hierarchy information each time a new job arrives. On the script element, the property "Archive by" allows you to choose between grouping files per day, month or year.

The Archive hierarchy tool is used to create the folder structure as it is stored in the hierarchy information of each job's job ticket. In this example flow the property "Archive by" is set to "by day" so all files will be grouped in folders labeled with the day of their arrival.

Using this flow.

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch PowerSWITCH
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine it or customize it to your needs.
