Create color correct proof

This flow creates 3 versions of each PDF: a BW Newspaper, a Commercial printing and a Digital printing version. The color space is adapted to the targeted proofer.

This flow is compatible with: FullSWITCH, PowerSWITCH.

Information

When a PDF is ready for print, it is dropped in the “input” folder. All incoming files are copied into the "PDF files" folder where three identical copies of the files are created.

pdfColorConvert takes the incoming PDF files and creates a black and white, commercial CMYK and digital printing CMYK file from the same file.

All proofing devices are attached to a File Balancer so that only one file at a time is fed to the proofer, so that a proofer can easily be put on hold without loosing files and so that the workflow can easily be extended by adding multiple proofing device if the workload requires it. 

Using this flow

• Download the flow and save it on your computer: download flow
• Launch one of the SWITCH products this flow is compatible with
• Use the “Flow > Import…” menu item
• In the dialog that is shown, select the flow file

The flow now appears in the flow list. You can now examine or customize it to your needs.
