Script Element

The Script Element in PowerSWITCH allows you to communicate with ADAM through Visual Basic Scripting (Microsoft Windows only).

This allows you to:

• Search ADAM and export a number of records
• Create an ADAM order
• Add records to ADAM

Example Flow

• From FTP to ADAM
  

  This basic flow downloads files from different FTP servers and hands them over to ADAM.

• From ADAM to Photoshop contact sheet
  Adam creates an order for each 4 images and hands them over to SWITCH. SWITCH uses Photoshop to create a contact sheet of these 4 images.
• Check images and hand over to ADAM
  

  The EXIF information is retrieved from all images received through FTP. FlightCheck professional is used to check the quality of the images and sends low quality images through an approve cycle before adding them to ADAM.
