Emails can be sent in any place in the workflow; they can be used to notify the customer about successfull receipt of their jobs, but also to highlight problems that need to be dealt with.
Variables and scripting (PowerSWITCH only) can be used to customize who the emails are sent to and what their subject and content is. In addition, the job that triggers an email to be sent can be attached to the sent email. This allows a preflight report with details about encountered problems to be sent back to the supplier of the job for example.
