Easily design and document flows
In FullSWITCH you can edit flows using the user-friendly and extremely flexible flow editor. A designed flow very strongly resembles the flowchart you have probably already drawn up while thinking how to implement workflows in your company.
A definite advantage of this is that it becomes very easy to understand what flows do afterwards; the flow in the visual editor becomes its own documentation! On top of that you can print out flows if you require paper documentation.
Configurators to setup and automate third-party applications
FullSWITCH has an extensive range of built-in tools; key third-party applications such as Adobe Acrobat Distiller, Adobe Photoshop, callas pdfInspektor and Enfocus PitStop Server can seamlessly be included in flows using configurators. All configuration and automation is performed from within FullSWITCH for a consistent and easy user experience.

Process images with Adobe Photoshop or Elpical Claro
Using the Adobe Photoshop configurator, you can open any file that Adobe Photoshop can open and run Photoshop actions on them. This allows color conversions, downsampling, running filters and any other task which can be accomplished using a Photoshop action to be automated using FullSWITCH.
Elpical Claro on the other hand allows you to do state-of-the-art image optimisation on individual images or on the images in PDF documents. Claro uses advanced image analysis and interpretes image metadata to determine how images are best processed.
Built-in tool to transform XML data using XSLT
The built-in XSLT tool is ideal to generate custom HTML preflight reports from the Enfocus PitStop Server and callas pdfInspektor configurators, but of course you can also use it to convert any other XML file into the format you need.
Keep track of all processing information
FullSWITCH is a very user-friendly tool but is built on a professional-grade automation framework. Any kind of processing that takes place in SWITCH is logged in the SWITCH log. The log or a selection of the logging information can be exported to a text or XML file. It is possible to automatically export the complete SWITCH log each day so that it can be integrated into an overall process handling system.
Spot processing bottlenecks easily
The statistics view in FullSWITCH makes it easy to keep an eye on crucial folders in your flows. In one graphical overview you can spot in which locations files are waiting to long before they are processed.
Handle problem jobs or processes easily
In any automated workflow, correctly dealing with problematic jobs or failing processes is hard. FullSWITCH makes this easier by automatically quarantining problem jobs and enabling the user to act on those problem jobs and by automatically notifying workflow managers if processes (such as FTP and email servers) are down.
