David van Driessche
As COO, David is responsible for the operational management of Gradual. Next to that, David's main focus is marketing communications and the distribution channel in North America. As a secondary focus, David provides technical back-up to the Professional Services team.
David joined Gradual Software January 1, 2005.
Prior to Gradual
David holds a degree in physics from the University of Ghent, Belgium, and successfully completed the post-graduate “Effective Management” program at the Vlerick Business School in Ghent.
David joined Enfocus Software as software developer in 1996 while the company was still in its infancy. He was soon promoted to Director of Software Development and became instrumental in building the company’s successful products. After the founder left Enfocus in 2003, David served as the company’s CEO for almost two years.
From the start of the Ghent PDF Workgroup, David was involved as technical representative from Enfocus Software. Later David served as Technical Officer of the group and currently he holds the Documentation Officer position in the Executive Committee of the workgroup.
David is a very talented technologist with broad business and management skills, and he is well-known in the publishing industry – in which he has been active for more than ten years.
